Edgar Screwhead
This is the original Edgar Screwhead drawing done by Phil Hartman in 1967 in pencil. Edgar is one of the upcoming animated productions of XENOVISION, and will be written by John Paragon, our TEAM XENO Senior Writer and Co-Executive Producer. John is currently reprising his role as Jambi the Genie on Broadway in The Pee Wee Herman Show. John, Phil and Paul Reubens were members of The Groundlings together, where the three of them originally conceived the Pee Wee Herman show back in 1981 at the Roxy Theater in Los Angeles.
You can see Edgar, Yogi and the Kid and many other original Phil Hartman art on the upcoming art exhibit, kicking off in early 2011 in Phil’s hometown of Brantford, Ontario. The show will then be continuing throughout Ontario, before coming to the United States. Original pieces of Phil art will also be available on ebay in 2011 for purchase, along with high quality, framed prints.
Stay tuned to XENOVISION for news on the upcoming Phil Hartman exhibit, and for weekly peeks at original Phil Hartman art.
